I want to thank everyone who came to my show Friday night: it was so nice to see and meet all of you!  (I also want to thank you for taking care of as much of the snacks and drinks as you did; I really wasn’t looking forward to hauling everything home!)

I took a few pictures of the gallery after I hung my pictures, but before I hung the labels.  (I was too distracted Friday night to remember to get pics of the setup before people arrived!)  Here’s what it looked like, pre-labels:

When I arrived at the gallery to finish setting up, I was surprised to find most of my labels lying face-down on the floor!  (Turns out that some ladies who work there had come in earlier and turned on the ceiling fans, and my museum gel just wasn’t strong enough to stand up to the breeze.)  I got all the tags put back up, and managed to get most of the snacks and drinks out before the crowd arrived.  (BIG thank you to my mother-in-law, Colleen, for dipping all the strawberries in chocolate, and another BIG thank you to my father-in-law, Del, for setting up the speakers and running home for the wine opener!)

I wish I’d thought to get my camera out sooner, but I was too busy chatting to take pictures until at least half of you were gone!  Here are the few pictures I managed to take:
